Miners in the foothills have vanished without warning, leaving behind abandoned tools, blood-streaked tunnels, and strange, shrill cries echoing from deep within the mountain. What began as a few missing workers has become a full collapse of the local mining operation, with supply roads ambushed, rescue parties butchered, and the old March tunnels turned into a maze of barricades, murder-holes, and cruel traps.

The village can no longer afford half-measures. Whatever has claimed the mines is organized, vicious, and growing bolder by the day. The militia refuses to enter, the remaining miners speak of something gathering beneath the stone, and every night the cries from the mountain come closer. The villagers now seek proven adventurers willing to descend into the March, break the occupiers’ hold, and cleanse the tunnels before the foothills become a killing ground.
