The dwarves of old built a mighty subterranean city named Tharkad-Kûl. They delved deep, mining metals and gems to sell to the surface folk. Their craftsmanship became legendary. Then one day, a red cloud appeared over the peak that held Tharkad-Kûl within its roots. It surrounded the peak for two weeks, then vanished. After that, Tharkad-Kûl was no longer a living city.
