Over the last week, the rivers near Gath Tekul have begun rising at a terrifying rate—higher by the hour, not by the day. Entire stretches of forest are half-submerged. Fish not native to these waters flop onto the muddy banks, and strange salt deposits cling to the roots of trees despite the ocean lying hundreds of miles away. Travelers whisper that something massive is moving beneath the surface. Villagers report deep tremors beneath the riverbed and an eerie sound like distant whale-song echoing through the flooded valleys. Whatever is traveling upriver is enormous… and it is getting closer. Gath Tekul sends for heroes, fearing that whatever rises from the depths will not stop at the March.
