Gritty Fantasy refers to a fantasy where everything isn't perfect. You will make mistake, and have to make hard decisions. Sometimes even morally questionable ones. I like to focus on setting the tone and evoking emotion through sounds and descriptions. I also prefer to use challenging but fair combats but, will never throw more than a group can handle at them.
