I've been an avid TTRPG player since 2003, DM since 2016, and exclusively DMed since 2020. I primarily play in 5e and chronicles of darkness, but have DMed in many kinds of storytelling systems including pf2e, BESM, and Star Wars D20. My goal as a DM is to bring the collaborative storytelling experience to as many people as possible so that we can all build the community and connection that can only come from the interactive experience.

This staff can only be attuned by a cleric, druid, or warlock. You can use a focused action to speak this staff’s command word and throw the staff to the ground within 2 squares of you. The staff becomes a giant constrictor snake under your control, acting on your turn. Using a quick action to speak the command word again, you return the staff to its normal form in a space formerly occupied by the snake. On your turn, as a quick action, you can mentally command the snake if it is within 12 squares of you. If you don’t command the snake, it acts in ways natural to it as determined by the GM. If the snake is reduced to 0 HP, it dies and reverts to its staff form. When this occurs, you can’t transform the staff into a snake for the remainder of the session. The snake can be healed while in snake form, but it has 0 LF and can’t gain LF by any means. Any HP the snake loses while in snake form is only healed naturally at the end of the session, at which point it regains all lost HP.

This mix of magic and alchemy facilitates the quick creation of multiple alchemical explosives. The vial has 3 charges. Using a focused action, manipulating the vial on the top of the flask, and spending 1 charge, you can create one of the following alchemical items: a vial of alchemist fire, a bottled lightning, a rime vial, or a vial of acid. Once created, that alchemical item lasts until the end of the session, at which point it crumbles to dust. Any used charges are regained at the end of the session.

This wyrwood wand is very straight and all but its tip has been blackened by elemental fire and then polished. While wielding it, it grants you a +1 bonus to spell to-hits for any druid, sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell you cast, even if that spell does not have the use implement spell activity. It serves as a primal and arcane spellcasting implement.

By defeating or at least driving off the feared Wizard’s Retinue bandit band, you have become a hero to the town of Riverwynd. While in that town, you are always recognized as a hero and never have to pay for reasonable food, drink, and lodging. You gain a +1 bonus on all CHA-based skill checks made against its inhabitants. However, remember that mistreatment of this boon may temporarily revoke these benefits at the GM’s discretion.
